If you live in Bridgewater, you already know Route 18. It runs straight through the common, past the rotary where Routes 18, 28 and 104 come together, and continues north into East Bridgewater. Follow it about ten minutes and you arrive at Salon Esprit — a full-service hair salon at 225 Bedford Street, in the Carriage Crossing plaza, with free parking at the door.
We have been caring for hair on this stretch of Route 18 for over 30 years, and a good share of our chairs are filled by people who drive up from Bridgewater. Some are Bridgewater State students who want color that grows out gracefully between visits home. Some have been coming for years and now bring their daughters. What they have in common is a short, simple drive and a stylist who remembers their history.
Bridgewater is well served for a lot of things, but a salon is a relationship, not an errand. People travel for a colorist they trust in a way they would never travel for a hardware store. Yes. A good number of our Bridgewater clients are students, faculty and staff at BSU, and we book around class blocks and semester breaks. Late August and early September fill quickly — book ahead if you want color before the semester starts.

Salon Esprit sits on Route 18 in East Bridgewater, which puts us within an easy drive of much of the South Shore.
