Karen knew she wanted to have a career helping people in some way. That message from her grandfather inspired her to care for others by maki
Karen is a licensed Cosmetologist and Instructor. As a young child Karen watched her grandfather cut her father and brother’s hair. Her grandfather always told her “When you look good you feel good”. Karen knew she wanted to have a career helping people in some way. That message from her grandfather inspired her to care for others by making them look and feel their best. Karen completed her education at LaBaron Hairdressing Academy in 1984 and joined the Salon Esprit team in 1990. Karen was inducted into our “Hall of Fame” in 1996. Her specialties include advanced texturing with perms, dimensional color techniques, precision cutting and finish work. Taking pride in her work motivates Karen to always do her best.

Heather is a licensed Cosmetologist. After agreeing to drive a friend to her classes at hairdressing school Heather decided to also enroll in the program. She enjoyed it so much that she went ahead and completed her education at Blue Hills Regional Technical School. Heather joined the team at Salon Esprit in 1991 and was inducted into our

She enjoyed it so much that she went ahead and completed her education at Blue Hills Regional Technical School. Heather joined the team at Salon Esprit in 1991 and was inducted into our “Hall of Fame” in 1995. Her specialties include hair color, foil highlights and fresh new haircuts. Heather felt inspired by our founder Bruce to always seek more education which she often does by watching YouTube videos. Her biggest motivation comes from the encouragement she receives from clients. Working closely with each client is one is of Heather’s greatest joys.

Pam is a licensed Cosmetologist. She wanted to be a hair stylist from the time she was a little girl. Pam has always enjoyed working with her hands in a creative way. She completed her education at Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School. Pam joined the team at Salon Esprit in 1992 and was inducted into our “Hall of Fame”
Pam is a licensed Cosmetologist. She wanted to be a hair stylist from the time she was a little girl. Pam has always enjoyed working with her hands in a creative way. She completed her education at Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School. Pam joined the team at Salon Esprit in 1992 and was inducted into our “Hall of Fame” in 1998. Her specialties include foil highlighting and short, precision haircuts. Pam truly loves making people look and feel good about themselves. Making clients beautiful is what Pam looks forward to the most.

She completed her education at South Shore Technical High School. Erika has been a team member at Salon Esprit since 1998 and was inducted into our “Hall of Fame” in 2001. Her specialties include long hair, being creative with hair color through fashion color, foil highlights and dimensional color, and making people laugh. Erika absolutely loves making clients look and feel like their best selves. Turning her chair at the end of the service for “the big reveal” is one the things that inspires Erika the most.

Maureen is a licensed Cosmetologist. She became interested in the field when she was a little girl and her next-door neighbor, who was a hairdresser, was doing hair at her in-home salon. Maureen would be her “assistant” by handing her perm papers and rods, and just watched everything her neighbor did with fascination. She completed her

Maureen would be her “assistant” by handing her perm papers and rods, and just watched everything her neighbor did with fascination. She completed her education at South Shore Technical High School. Maureen joined the team at Salon Esprit in 2001 and was inducted into our “Hall of Fame” in 2005. Her specialties include braids, updos and dimensional coloring. Maureen loves to do anything that makes whoever is in her chair feel better about themselves. For Maureen, every day is an opportunity to learn. She enjoys keeping up with the latest trends on social media. Maureen’s inspiration comes from each client who comes with their hopes and ideas for what they would like their hair to look like. This motivates Maureen to use her skills and knowledge to create a look that will have them feeling and looking their absolute best.

Raquel has been a team member at Salon Esprit since 2001 and was inducted into our “Hall of Fame” in 2004. Her specialties include cutting all types of hair especia
Raquel is a licensed Cosmetologist. Being one of six girls in her family Raquel grew up doing her sisters’ hair. She completed her education at Ailano School of Cosmetology. Raquel has been a team member at Salon Esprit since 2001 and was inducted into our “Hall of Fame” in 2004. Her specialties include cutting all types of hair especially curly and Afro American hair. Raquel feels that one of her best gifts is the ability to copy a haircut just by seeing it for the first time. She loves showing her skills on short buzzed and faded haircuts. Speaking multiple languages helps Raquel communicate with her clients whose first languages include Cape Verdean, Portuguese, and Spanish. She also enjoys chatting with her manicure and pedicure clients. Raquel is a people person who likes to make clients feel at ease and comfortable in her chair. Seeing the client’s reaction to the finished look is very rewarding for her. Raquel is inspired by keeping up with the latest trends on social media. What motivates Raquel the most is the relationship she has built with clients over the years. She can’t wait to see them and make them feel beautiful by giving them just the look they want.

Her specialties include eyebrow shaping, facials, teaching her clients how to best care for their skin, and painting fingers and toes in bright colors. Kim enjoys making clients feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Bringing out the best in each client’s beautiful face is what inspires Kim the most .
